Ingegneria Alimentare designs and manufactures Wastewater Treatment Plants for both civil and industrial use aimed at reducing the most various pollutants. The plants consist of pre-treatment, equalization, oxidation or anaerobic fermentation and final refinement. By “waste” we mean water whose chemical and physical qualities have been modified compared to those of origin. To be reinserted into the environment, these waters must undergo a series of treatments that allow the restoration of adequate quality standards. Each plant is equipped with a computerized synoptic control panel with the possibility of remote web access.
Our classic purification plant for industrial use consists of the following functional parts:
▶ Inlet effluent pre-treatment area: physical treatment by grilling, desanding, oil removal, and equalization. In this phase, a possible addition of bacteria and / or enzymes is also foreseen to facilitate and immediately bring the following oxidation step to full speed, and / or the addition of acids or bases to bring the pH of the waste to suitable values;
▶ Primary oxidation zone consisting of large capacity stainless steel tanks;
▶ Secondary treatment area with possible correction of discharge parameters;
▶ Sludge treatment and dehydration area, made up of floaters, filters with smaller meshing up to reverse osmosis
▶ Final sludge dewatering by means of a belt press
